I feel immense pleasure in presenting my latest book ‘Geography of India” before the academic fraternity mainly student communities of the country. It is my sincere effort to meet the demands of large community of the students. The format of the present book is comprised of 3 types of questions and their detailed explanations e.g. 1. multiple choice type of questions, 2. short answers type of questions, and 3. long answers type of questions. It is, infact, a comprehensive text book of Geography of India. Greater emphasis has been given on physical aspects of our country. The book comprises 23 chapters. The descriptions have been supported by suitable and simple maps which can be easily reproduced. The long tables of data have been avoided.
