Models and theories in Human Geography is an important component in the course structures of the Indian Administrative Services. The prescribed models and theories are from the Agricultural Geography, Industrial Geography, Urban Geography, Population Geography, Political Geography and Settlement Geography. Being from different branches of Human Geography, literature on the prescribed models is not available at one place. The students face a lot of strain in consulting the different books and volumes to master the topics of models and theories. The aim of the present textbook is to provide literature in a concise and cogent manner on the models and theories of Human Geography at one place.
