The standard of some of the other question thumtioned many aspirants. This trend has continued in the subsequent years tos. Although a part of the bronder op “Comperbension”, they are referred to as, “Logical Comprehension’ in the statistical analysis owing to the amribe tested by such short passages.
The changing pattern, of the examination and the nature of questions, creates gemine apprehension in the minds of the aspirants as to what would be the nanare of questions and their level of complexity? Are they going to be of same difficulty level ot would their complexity be more? From the stage priot to the Preliminary examination when the candidates begin serious preparation of this examination and upto the stage of interview, candidates spend hundreds of her in preparation of this gruelling examination. Surely everybody endeavours to cross the fint bundle and reach the Mains stags. This cannot happen without clearing the Prelims. As sach it would be at one’s own perd that any seperant wondd take General Studies Paper-II lightly. What if this paper’s marks are considered for selection next year and it does not remain merely a qualifying one? Even if it is a qualifying puper, the changing patern and imcreasing level of complexity do requinta basic minimum preparation.
