This book in its third edition is a result of the feedback that we have received from our esteemed readers. We are grateful for the overwhelming love and affection shown for the Second Edition of this bestseller book. In almost all the suggestions by our readers, there were certain common motifs. The first and foremost demand was regarding inclusion of solved questions of previous years of various competitive examinations. There was also a felt need to update the book, particularly the part two of the book which is very dynamic. With this edition, a crucial change is that it now comes in two volumes.

Another key demand of the readers was further simplification of the language of the book. An effort has been made in that direction also in this edition. It is understandable that students from non-metro areas face difficulty when it comes to accessing quality resources and material. So, the book tries to address that felt need and this edition has strengthened the list of more than 50 indicative answers which were introduced in the Second Edition and it has been complemented with model solved questions. Another important change in the book is the strengthening of an extensive glossary of around 800 terms. Since this edition comes in two volumes, a glossary is created separately for each volume.
